Julia S. H. Prospero concentrates her practice in physician contracting and regulatory compliance matters. She specializes in reviewing and drafting vendor, lease and employment contracts; sales and acquisitions of medical practices; and developing effective materials for employee and HIPAA compliance manuals. Ms. Prospero also has experience in estate planning and estate and trust administration. She is also a member of Wade, Goldstein’s HIPAA Compliance Committee.
Ms. Prospero earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University-Douglass College. She earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law with a Certificate in Health Law, while working full-time for a fortune 500 healthcare management company. Ms. Prospero gained extensive legal experience during her previous employment. She drafted, reviewed and negotiated a wide array of contracts; analyzed fraud and abuse issues surrounding physician contracting; implemented legal policies and guidelines to ensure federal laws were upheld; completed Medicare enrollment applications and assisted in the review and drafting of corporate and medical bylaws.
Ms. Prospero is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
